REACTION POINTS
THE LAB NOTEBOOK
You have 120 seconds of active play. Swap horizontally or vertically adjacent pieces to form a line of at least three identical items. Diagonals do not count. A swap that makes no match is undone.
Each cleared piece earns 10 points × the cascade multiplier. The first reaction uses ×1; subsequent reactions caused by falling pieces use ×2, ×3, and so on. The multiplier resets for each new swap.
Mouse / touch: click or tap two neighbours, or drag / swipe in a direction. Input responds immediately with short animations.
Keyboard: Tab into the board, use arrow keys to move, then Space or Enter to select and choose a neighbour. Press P to pause or resume, H for a hint, and Escape to clear a selection. Shortcuts are inactive inside dialogs.
Hints: highlight a valid move and deduct 50 points, down to a minimum of zero. Stuck boards reshuffle automatically for free. Pausing or switching tabs stops the timer; resume when ready.
Sound plays with your actions. Use the sound button to mute. Best scores are saved on this browser when local storage is available. This is a matching puzzle; reactions are visual effects, not chemistry instructions.
A FRESH START
Your current score will be discarded and a new two-minute round will begin.
