THE MICROSCOPIC MATCH LAB

A cell full of possibilities.

Tap groups of three or more identical organelles. Every match reveals a real cellular function. Complete four function missions and keep your matching streak going before the two-minute clock ends.

Timer, points and organelle counts are game mechanics. Biological processes do not occur on this game clock.

FIELD GUIDE

How to Play

  1. Tap a group of at least three identical organelles connected horizontally or vertically. Diagonal neighbors do not join a group. Tiles above fall; fresh tiles enter from the top.
  2. Match chloroplasts, mitochondria, rough ER and Golgi in that order for four missions. Each mission needs 9 tiles of its own type after it becomes active. Other matches still earn points and explain functions.
  3. A group of n tiles earns 5 × n² × the combo multiplier. Match again within 5 active seconds to raise the multiplier, up to ×4. An invalid match resets the combo.
  4. Hint highlights a useful group and costs 10 points. Remix creates a new board and costs 25 points. Scores never go below zero. A board with no legal group is remixed for free.
  5. Use Show names for labels. Use arrow keys to move across the board and Enter or Space to match. P pauses. How to Play freezes the clock.
  6. The timed rush lasts 120 seconds. Each mission awards 150 bonus points. After four missions you can keep matching for score until time expires. Explore mode is untimed.
