How to keep the cell powered

Guide the mitochondrion for 150 seconds. The cellular current accelerates as the run continues.

  1. Steer: use Arrow keys or WASD. On touch or mouse, drag anywhere in the game field.
  2. Collect: gather blue oxygen, amber fuel, and cyan ADP. One of each completes a metabolic cycle and generates ATP.
  3. Dodge: avoid red reactive oxygen species, green toxins, and damaged protein clusters. Collisions reduce membrane integrity.
  4. Adapt: ATP milestones activate a short proton shield. Collecting resources in quick succession builds a chain bonus.

Shortcuts: P or Space pauses, M toggles sound, and Escape closes this guide. The game pauses automatically when the tab is hidden.

This is a simplified game model. Real ATP production uses enzyme complexes across the inner mitochondrial membrane and a proton gradient.
